I’m betting independent study at the facility…. It’s hot like 4 hours is really a lot in a weeks time. An extra 45 mins to hour each practice afterward would fill that easy….

I'm bothered by the need to have this contingency in his contract but understand the need. That and having a substantial amount of money tied to workout bonuses shows that they dont have much confidence in his work ethic outside of the facility. Then again, this is Kind of the same thing that we did for Dan Williams and his weight. Extra motivation to do the right thing.

Its hard to fully track anyway and what are they going to do if he only does 2 hours? Void his contract?

very conflicted here

the pessimist says: this basically confirms all the whispers / verbal subtweets said about K1. When teammates say "he is the most talented player they have ever been around.." its both a compliment AND a dig. I think this also sheds light on one of the topics Steve K and Kliff talked to Team Murray (i.e. his dad) about.

the optimist says: the last 7 weeks were humbling for him. He went from MVP candidate to everyone's favorite "i told you so..." guy. The most talented guy on the field now realizes more is needed. Hopefully this is a like Todd Haley telling Fitz he was one dimensional -- and Fitz maturing to become a technician on his craft.

They are paying JJ Watt extra on the side to enforce it by being in the room with Kyler... which is good practice for him not going into a fetal position anytime a defensive lineman is around

Wouldn’t be hard to track at all especially in facility. I’m betting independent study means him and a coach not just him. Away from other teammates. Easy as hell to keep track of.

I think it is being blown completely out proportion because I bet the details on some contract which are never leaked are a lot more worrisome than this, as probably the stipulations about women of ill repute lol

100+ million guaranteed to Kyler and this is what we have to spell out. Andrew Brandt already said this is highly unique so I'll take his word for that.
