Key dates, locations for MHSAA spring sports postseason tournaments

It's nearly postseason time, high school sports fans.

The spring sports season is rapidly heading towards its conclusion, with girls tennis regionals set to kick off the whirlwind of postseason play on Wednesday, May 13. Every sport will kick off its playoff bracket before May ends, leaving the first few weeks of June to settle the regional and state finals.

Here are key dates and locations to note for each spring sport as the postseason begins:

Regionals: May 13-16

Finals: Division 1, May 29-30; Division 2, June 3-4; Division 3, June 5-6; Division 4, May 27-28 at Midland Tennis Center

Track and field​

Regionals: May 14-16

Finals: May 30

Division 1: Rockford; Division 2: Hamilton; Division 3: Kent City; Division 4: Baldwin MS/Hudsonville; Upper Peninsula: Kingsford

Boys volleyball​

Regionals: May 26-30

Quarterfinals: June 2

Semifinals, finals: June 5-6 at Kellogg Arena, Battle Creek

Softball​

District finals: May 28-30

Regionals: June 6
