MANHATTAN — Kansas State football's recruiting momentum under first-year coach Collin Klein has netted its biggest prize yet.

Brayden Harris, a four-star offensive tackle out of Jackson, Missouri, announced his commitment to the Wildcats on Sunday, May 31.

The 6-foot-5, 270-pounder was on campus over the weekend for an official visit. He chose the Wildcats over Arkansas, UCF, Missouri, Illinois, Nebraska and others.

He immediately becomes the highest-ranked recruit to commit to the Wildcats' 2027 class and the second four-star prospect, joining tight end Ben Hynek. According to the 247Sports Composite, he's the highest-ranked player to commit since Linkon Cure in 2025.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Harris is a four-star prospect, ranked as the No. 40 offensive tackle and the nation's No. 394 overall player.

As of Sunday afternoon, Kansas State had the nation's No. 30 recruiting class, which ranked third in the Big 12 behind Texas Tech and Houston.
