MANHATTAN — Kansas State football has landed a speedy three-star wide receiver out of Louisiana

Ashton Stark, listed at 5-foot-9 1/2 and 158 pounds, announced his commitment to the Wildcats on Wednesday, June 17, via social media.

Stark, of Lutcher, Louisiana, picked the Wildcats over offers from Arkansas, Louisiana Tech, Auburn, Cincinnati and others. He's coming off a junior season in which he made 56 catches for 806 yards, while also rushing for 242 yards with 15 total touchdowns.

Stark also doubles as a track athlete, who ran a 10.92-second 100-meter dash in April. He visited the Manhattan campus this weekend and was offered by the Wildcats in mid-April.

Stark's father played receiver at Louisiana Tech from 1999-01.
