MANHATTAN — Collin Klein's successful recruiting streak continued when he landed Anitoni Tahi, a three-star defensive lineman out of Arizona.
Tahi announced his commitment to the Wildcats on Wednesday, April 29. He chose the Wildcats over Arizona State, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
He is ranked as the No. 127 defensive lineman in the 2027 class. He's listed at 6-foot-2, 312 pounds, out of Basha High School in Chandler, Arizona.
Tahi visited Manhattan earlier this month. He received his initial Kansas State offer from Chris Klieman's staff in June 2025. He was on campus for a game in October.
Kansas State's pursuit continued after Klein and his new coaching staff moved in. At the same time, Tahi continued to shine on one of Arizona's best defenses, making him a coveted Power 4 target.
Tahi's commitment continues Kansas State's recruiting momentum, as he becomes the 11th player to pledge to the Wildcats' 2027 class. After the Wildcats landed quarterback Cam Kruse (Tennessee) and recommitted defensive lineman Dawayne Jones (Oklahoma) on Wednesday, they moved into the nation's 25th-best recruiting class, according to 247Sports, and Tahi will only improve that.
Kansas State had the 25th-best recruiting class in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite, before his commitment, which ranked second in the Big 12, behind only Texas Tech.
