Jude Bellingham clutch goal history: England star scores 8th major international tournament goal in game vs. Norway originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
A star for club and country, Jude Bellingham has rapidly announced himself as one of the world's finest talents in recent years.
The Real Madrid and England standout is as reliable as they come in the heart of midfield, pairing defensive solidity with attacking flourish. Few of Bellingham's qualities have proven as eye-catching as his flair for the dramatic — the 22-year-old is not only a scorer of goals, but a scorer of clutch goals.
During Saturday's World Cup quarterfinal matchup against Norway, he added another to his tally. Trailing 1-0 toward the end of the first half, Bellingham danced into the box. The spindly midfielder latched onto a pass before depositing the ball into the bottom-right corner.
With his goal, Bellingham leveled the score at one goal apiece. He also collected the latest in a string of clutch strikes.

Jude Bellingham clutch goal history
Bellingham has previous experience tallying timely goals in the England white. One round earlier, Bellingham swept home two efforts to power England to a 3-2 win over Mexico at the Azteca Stadium.
He also scored the equalizer in the Three Lions’ win over Slovakia in the Round of 16 at the 2024 European Championships, climbing high before whipping his right foot via scissor kick in the dying embers of stoppage time.
All told, Bellingham is a noted clutch performer. He proved as much on Thursday evening.

Bellingham’s latest international strike came with a touch of controversy. In the lead up to the goal, the ball appeared to strike broadcasting equipment — an infraction that typically requires referee intervention.
The refereeing crew for Saturday’s match missed the call. Moments later, the ball ended up in the back of the net, emerging through the forest of limbs courtesy of Bellingham’s left foot.
