MIAMI GARDENS — England star Jude Bellingham has brought the "Three Lions" level against Norway in the World Cup quarterfinal at Hard Rock Stadium.
Bellingham scored a superb goal in the second minute of first-half stoppage time on Saturday, July 11 to make the score 1-1 moments before halftime.
The English star midfielder took his chance brilliantly, receiving a pass at the top of the Norway box and completing several dribbled before firing a left-footed shot across the goal and past the goalkeeper's outstretched leg.
Bellingham's goal helped England tie the match after Norway's Andreas Schjelderup gave the underdogs a lead just 10 minutes earlier.
Schjelderup struck a left-footed shot from the left side of the penalty area which looped over the outstretched arm of England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Norway has had little possession so far in the first half but has made the most of its forays deep into England's end. Minutes before the Schjelderup strike, star striker Erling Haaland caused a couple nervous moments in the English defensive backline.

This is Norway's first appearance in the World Cup quarterfinals, while England is here for the third straight tournament, eyeing a return to its semifinal form from 2018.
Today's winner will wait around to learn their semifinal opponent: Lionel Messi and Argentina, or Granit Xhaka and Switzerland.
