MIAMI GARDENS, FL ― England is on the board with a World Cup quarterfinal goal against Norway.
Jude Bellingham scored a left-footed rocket in the 47th minute to level the score, 1-1. The goal, assisted with a pinpoint pass from Anthony Gordon, adds to England's total, which now stands at 12 World Cup goals and counting.
Norway had been able to fend off England from completely taking over the game by frustrating it with defense and forcing it into numerous first-half passes (370). It also scored a sensational goal at the 36th minute to get out in front. Still, Bellingham and England were determined to find the back of the net.
