Josh Hart brutally calls out Draymond Green questioning Jalen Brunson’s $100M Knicks sacrifice

Josh Hart hits out at Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green’s comments about Jalen Brunson.

The 2025-26 NBA season ended with the New York Knicks lifting the Larry O’Brien trophy after 53 years and Jalen Brunson was undoubtedly the star of the team.

While Brunson is a fan-favorite right now, this wasn’t the narrative around him when he took a massive $100 million discount when signing a contract extension with the Knicks in 2024.

Josh Hart snaps at Draymond Green calling out Jalen Brunson’s $100 million discount​

Brunson taking a $100 million pay cut in 2024 allowed the Knicks to build a competitive roster around him, which ultimately helped the franchise win the 2026 NBA Championship.

However, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green, who recently signed a $27.7 million deal with the team, feels this was an awful decision by Brunson.


Green gave examples of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson securing the bag from the Warriors and still ending up winning NBA titles.

Moreover, Dray believes a big-market team like the Knicks can afford a massive deal for Brunson. Hart, however, didn’t like Green questioning his Knicks teammate’s generous sacrifice.
