ESPN reported last night that KC had offered a trade with the Cardinals for RB Jones, but the Cardinals turned them down. Does anyone know (for real) what the Chiefs were offering?

This is old news.
Update is that Peterson feels there will be ongoing discussions before and possibly during draft day to see if the two sides can work something out. He didn't come across sounding like the Cards were being unreasonable, and the body language of his comment suggests that a more palatable offer might be in the works.

I think that is about right. I thought about this this morning. While most people think it was a very low ball offer, Carl may have gone to the other extreme:
Snoop Minnis, our 5th round pick and our 1st round pick (#16)
for
Jones and your first round pick (#6).
Of course the Cardinals would reject that offer.
I know the author said "for real", but I was thinking that KC may have gone to other extreme on a rejected offer.

He's over 6', but I think you got the weight right.
Regarding a players and pick-swapping for TJ, many (if not all) teams work with a numeric formula which assigns a value for every pick in the draft - so that when teams look to swap picks or balance out the fairness of a trade, everyone's on the same page.
Anyone have specifics on this?
