We should not make ANY important decisions after any Summer League game, especially the very first one.
No decision, just an observation. We went from o percent PF, to now 50-60 percent good at PF. I say it's that low because Bridges got in ANOTHER altercation with his EX, again! (See side rant) However Peat and Fleming show we have development pieces in the pipeline for that spot. I was happy Fleming added 50 pounds to his frame, and it didn't mess with his foot speed. Peat is a load down low on offense, and he looked solid in the paint area to mid range on offense. Also, Peat didn't look lost on defense.

Side rant: Dude, other families have grand parents, friends, etc, do the kid swap when it's that contentious between parents. Why is this guy NOT having someone do the kid swap for him?

20 mill per year is too much for Brooks. He has lower market price. Why is he moving around? Give him 15 mill, max.

But 15m was a bit high for Allen wasn't it? Plus he has passed 30 and his defense is no longer that great. 20m should be the max.

Booker will earn 70m for the 29/30 season. He should opt out and sign a cheaper contract. Talk about robbing the team.

It’s the reality of really the pro sports landscape. We are seeing some changes this summer as far as deal amounts, but make no mistake, Brooks is a solid starter and deserves at least #3 money.

Can't imagine calling a client and telling them they are paying me too much, please pay me less. The only way that's going to happen is if his contract can be stretched, less per yr longer term.

He can opt out and do what Jalen Brunson and Wemby did. Take a pay cut for the good of the team. Suns has already paid him more than enough.

If he did this I would put him as the best Suns player of all time. Until then, he never will be in my mind

Magic Johnson and Larry Bird both did this back in the eighties. In fact, Magic just signed for 1 million per year and Celtics fans lost their minds!! I believe the Commish even had to make a statement about it. So it was $25 million for 25 years. Jerry Buss wanted to get Magic into the front office when he retired, and Magic did, too. Celtics fans were made he signed so low, and then they were upset that Buss was circumventing the rule about players owning part of the team.
