Tom Tupa was more painful at qB.
I remember that I always thought that Tupa would be a great person to keep on the team. Make him your backup QB or #3 QB, and your punter and you open up a roster spot. He was a decent punter.

I said nice things about him from the cheap seats
There you go. I said nice things about him from Chicago.

Interestingly enough, I think Skelton has a similar throwing motion to Michael Vick.

Can't think of anything better to do in the next 3 games than to see what this kid can do.

Do we crown him the next Brady? Way too early. But he certainly looked good out there -- and the team seemed to come alive under him.

Well that is interesting, considering the Sports Science guys said his release is closest to that of Peyton Manning.

I noticed that Skelton threw behind receivers a lot. I wondered if this was his not being accustomed to the speed of a live NFL game. They always say there is no way to simulate the speed of an NFL game other than playing in an NFL game.

Rich Gannon said nice things during the game broadcast.

Rich said a lot of nice things about him. I had never seen any broadcaster clamor over a Cards QB other than Warner in my life.

I almost thought Skelton's dad was doing the color commentary :D

But in all honesty, I think his first start was a good stepping stone. Time to put some TDs on the board now

For people who know quarterbacks, they were very complimentary. Ron Jawarski was very complimentary. One start at a time. Makes the rest of the season interesting.
People said nice things about Max Hall as well... even though the kid did good things but it is too early to sing praises.

Guys like Jaworski blew Hall out of the water!

It is to early but you can critique whats in front of you.
