Since Mulli opted for a delegation on his last pick, the almighty Commish is stepping in to make the pick and get us to the last selection, which will be Mr. Relevant, since it is only the beginning of the fourth round and no selection here can be deemed as irrelevant. The Ravens select TE C.J. Fiedorowicz, Iowa

We would like to thank each other for one thing, allowing us to find a way to spend time because we cannot sleep with the Christmas presents under the tree, TODAY THE REAL DRAFT IS A GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know, maybe we could do this again next year and I will save the draft and pass them on to one of our fellow posters after the season and get a draft grade on our selections :D

Thank you for organizing this. I enjoyed participating in it.

It was a blast... showed me how little I know, showed me more about the players which I would have not known without doing it and how deep this draft is. This was a lot of fun :)

These are the teams and their respective GMs.

Jet- Falcons, Bengals
CardStl- Rams, Chiefs (added Chiefs since your in the area and you need a AFC team)
WildBB- Jets, Giants
JOtis- Titans, Saints
BillyB-Cardinals (do not get mad guys that BillyBob has the Cardinals, we all have been given our opinions on them anyways), Chargers
Bucky- Texans, Cowboys
Az1616- Patriots, Redskins
CBus- Jacksonville, Buccaneers
JayCard- Seahawks and Bills
Rugby- Bears and Steelers
Oaken- Raiders, Niners
SouthPaw- Dolphins, Vikings
Cardiac- Eagles and Browns
BW- Packers, Colts
Quagmire- Lions and Broncos
Mulli- Ravens and Panthers

No Trades are allowed and you simply post your pick when the team before you has posted theirs. I will check every so often and post an update of the players selected but simply look at who has selected before you. Try to keep in mind the team you are representing. Know what they have done in free agency. Know what positions in the near future might need to be filled. And lastly, most mocks never seem to turn out right because everybody drafts according to need and just keep in mind that in the first round talent might override need. And yes, you by all means can draft according to the quirks of a certain team but do it within the realms of reality if that is possible in a fictitious mock lol

Round one...

1) Texans- DE Jadeveon Clowney, South Carolina
2) Rams- WR Sammy Watkins, Clemson
3) Jags- QB Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M
4) Browns- LB Khalil Mack, Buffalo

6) Falcons- LB Anthony Barr, UCLA
7) Bucs- QB Derrek Carr, Fresno State
8) Vikes- QB Blake Bortles, Central Florida
9) Bills- OT Jake Matthews, Texas A&M
10) Lions- S HaHa Clinton Dix, Alabama
11) Titans- OT Taylor Lewan, Michigan
12) Giants- WR Mike Evans, Texas A&M
13) Rams- CB Justin Gilbert, Oklahoma St.
14) Bears- CB Darqueze Dennard, Michigan State
15) Steelers- DT Aaron Donald, Pittsburgh

I had fun, except for the getting puked on part ever time I picked.

I signed on early and could have been the Cardinals GM , but I thought about it , and determined , better not go there . You are a brave man Billy Bob .

It was fun. Long fun. Thanks for the opportunity to flaunt my football knowledge, which is the same as show my butt to the world. :D

You did well grasshopper Green.

BTW;

Minnesota Vikings;

Round 1. - Blake Bortles QB UCF. Doesn't have to play the 1st year. New staff with Zimmer and Norv Turner should allow him to be eased into the position. Turner's type of QB. Big, agile, downfield vision, with above average arm. Didn't play against big school defenses, but won some shootouts with his playmaking ability. Didn't have a recognizable supporting cast at UCF. I would call him a diamond in the rough. Allen is gone.

Round 2. - Kyle Van Noy LB/DE BYU - Many thought Kyle was 1st round stuff. I thought he was 2nd round stuff. Fell right into Vikes lap and fills a need. Zimmer may get him in the lineup as an edge rusher early on.

Round 3a. - Billy Turner OG/OT North Dakota Sate University. Vikings have done well last 2 years drafting a decent O line. Turner could be the final piece. Huge athletic player with versatility. Another draft choice who does not have to play from day 1, but should contribute early. Small school player with big school body and talent.

Round 3B - Dominique Easley DT/DE U of Gatorville. This is a gift drop. Easley was a top of the 1st round pick prior to knee injury. Not severe and rehab is going well. Zimmer will be around a few years and will have patience. This is the rationale that allowed them to take Bortles at #8

Vikings have worst scoring defense in the league and have glaring needs on that side. Not using the #1 pick on defense could be a mistake, but taking a high profile QB will do wonders for PR with the fanbase. There is also the possibility that Vikes do a trade ( see Percy Harvin deal ) and get an additional #1 and/or high #2/3 to use for defense and a 2nd tier QB.

If Spielman gets this draft scenario he saves his job. Now he needs every one else to cooperate. :D

in 4-7 Vikings need a CB and ILB. Shane Skov/Jordan Tripp could be available at #4.

Dolphins - The Wreck of the Hesperus

Round 1. - Eric Ebron TE, UNC. Dolphins should be this lucky. That o line is a wreck both with lack of talent and mutiny. Don't know that Tannehill is the long term QB for the Dolphins, but between lack of protection and lack of targets, he is basically in survival mode. Dolphins need to do a trade up to get one of the premier OTs, but that is only one position and will require sacrificing scarce picks to do so. Right now the Dolphins are using a H back as their primary TE. They have nothing at that position. Ebron at # 19 is stealing candy.

Round 2. - Gabe Jackson OG Mississippi State. Filling one of those gaping chasms on the O line is essential and Gabe is a viable candidate. Ja'Waun James is another obvious OT choice, but I suspect he will be gone when the run on Tackles begins early and he is one of the few left.

Round 3 - Chris Borland ILB U of Wisconsin. A very intelligent tackling machine. I would rather have Shane Skov or Jordan Tripp here as they have better size, but this is the Dolphins, and their new GM is Hickey the ex Buccaneer. Mosely is the big name at ILB, but he has warts and will probably go much sooner.

I really like the Dolphins draft. That would help them out a lot. Gabe Jackson would be a huge pickup for them.

I was looking at everyone's draft and they really all looked good except when you pick into the unknown realm of QB, this draft appears to be deep (I say appears because we just do not really know in this gamble where hope springs eternal). We did not have trades in this draft so when I had the Bengals I was pretty much forced into a Mettenberger in round one selection because Dalton is not the answer and my QB selections would have been toast in the second. The Cardinals selection of Bridgewater I thought was not bad since we have Palmer. The QB is extremely hard to select and I honestly do not think the prospects are going to change in the years to come since colleges just do not use the position where it transfers over to the pro game well. Andrew Luck in my opinion was an anomaly and personally do not see the selections being much better next year either... so why not go QB now if one can in what in my opinion will be projects at the position :)

When healthy Locker has showed that he can play QB in the NFL , but keeping him standing has been a problem , so after addressing the Guard position last year the Titans will continue to strengthen the O-Line protection for Locker .

With the 11'th pick the Titans --- Taylor Lewan OT Michigan

Well , I got the first of my picks , we will see how the rest go .
