i'm ready to express my Green assessment:

most athletic, agile, and fast Sun. good driver and ball handler
like Beal, however, he too often doesn't finish his quick moves
why?

as i feared when we got him, like Beal and Booker
he has a low bb iq

if he was smarter, he'd maintain the focus to finish, he'd know the pressure he was driving into, and dish more as an option

he's young enough that he can benefit from more experience and at least he's not hot headed and rash like his backcourt partner, but together they're not going to get anywhere in the playoffs in crunch-time.

I agree on the low BB IQ. His decision making is just not very good. He is not a very good passer either, which leads to turnovers. Also he doesn't seem to have figured out how to draw fouls at all as a part of his offense.

I think I have seen enough of his game at this point to understand it. He is incredibly streaky. If he is having a bad night, I kind of think the best thing to do is just bench him. It doesn't seem like it ever gets any better, and worst of all he won't slow down his shot taking when he is having a terrible game. Book at least tends to defer more on bad shooting nights.

The thing I noticed with Green is that he's just too slight of build. He gets pushed off his driving path way too easily and can't really finish through contact. It's probably a reason he takes so many long twos and step-backs.

I'd like to see Green close out a game instead of Book at least once this season (with both on the court).

That's because the dude often gets hammered going to the basket with no call.

I watched a replay last game of him getting hit in the face at the rim and losing the ball. No call. And this is from Jazz broadcast.

We'd probably be the 4th or 5th seed if Jalen Green were not on the roster.

Even when he puts up points, he's inefficient and he takes up a wild amount of possessions while playing lousy defense.

He and Gillespe don't click at all. They pretty much can't be on the court together, they both suck when sharing the court.

IMO, Green should be our off the bench "hot hand" guy. If he is hitting his crazy long fades and running one handers... play him. If he's cold, sit him.

I have been out of touch with this site for a while, and I come back to a post like this. Wow.

I'm all for keeping our players, especially our stars, accountable. But, no.
