OKC Thunder star Jalen Williams has been ruled out for Game 1 of a second-round playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers at 7:30 p.m. CT Tuesday.

Williams is still dealing with a Grade 1 left hamstring strain that he sustained on April 22 during Game 2 of a first-round series against the Phoenix Suns. He's being re-evaluated on a weekly basis.

"He's progressing according to plan, I would say," Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault said of Williams on Monday. "In terms of a timeline, we're not going to release that. We’ll continue to let you guys know on a week-to-week basis.”

The only other player on OKC's injury report is rookie center Thomas Sorber. He's out for the entire season due to a torn ACL in his right knee.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles remains without Luka Dončić. The superstar guard is still recovering from a Grade 2 left hamstring strain that he sustained on April 2.
