I remember another player who had a reputation for taking plays off: Calais Campbell


They said the same thing about Peppers and Mario Williams ( I may be

wrong on that so call me out if I am:)) The Texans passed on Peppers.

Will they pass on Clowney now? When they get Teddy on the chalkboard

I think they fall madly in love with him. Smart player

That is true. In his defense, he came to Miami as a less than heralded recruit. Miami's coaching staff did very little to develop him. I would suggest Arizona was the first competent coaching staff he ever played for. Learning on the fly.

In defense of Clowney, opponents game plan for him. He gets double teamed nearly every play. Just as valuable. He is freaky athletic. Every team wants a piece of him.
