Our starting QB is a very average, pedistrian QB in this league.

He can not make any drastic momentum swings when you really need them, and actually starts to become well below average when he's put in must have situations.

What is our 3rd down % for getting a first down this season, 20%?!

I agree with some of this however I don't think he's that bad at all, he's just not a carry the team kinda QB in the first place.

He's meant to be dropped into a relatively good offense and if he is I think he's more than serviceable to win with.

That takes coaching and good play calling and good OL play and a running game.

Given a good team and time to learn the offense I dont' think people would feel this way, however our team as a whole is so bad that it's a moot point, that's just my take on it, he does seem to be going downhill at a rapid rate, that's not good at all.

We're so horribly inconsistent I don't think it's all him, he probably wasn't worth what we gave for him for sure but I don't think he's the reason for the disaster himself.

He certainly wasn't any help today by a long shot. But i agree, it goes accross the board when your this uncompetitive.

20 rushes for 60 by Beannie was just awsome too....:bang:

He's not going to win games for you by himself which is why I would never of wanted him in the first place.

Call me stupid but I like having a QB who's capable of winning a game for you because they are that good.

Warner was the only guy we've had in modern history that good.

I will not put the blame on Kolb. The Cardinals offensive line is just plain bad. If I were Kolb I would get happy feet as well, which I think has become his problem starting the season. Even if he learns to stay in the pocket, the offensive line has already made him anxious for his health.

I'm still for sticking with Kolb, however, does anyone know if Skelton has recovered from his injury. My thoughts remain, Skelton should develop into the QBOTF.

This teams problems stem from having an AWFUL O-line. I've been saying it for years and this season is yet another perfect example of a decent team being completely done in by terrible O-line play.

Actually, I shouldn't say completely done in by the O-line...the coaching has been pretty awful as well.

To be fair, the Vikings have one of the better run defenses in the league. They're 6th in yards per carry allowed at 3.3 yards/carry.

Really ?

He missed a lot of open receiver today, got sacked in HORRIBLE situations, batted balled, etc., etc., etc.

12 mil for this ?

LOL. He sucks. Put in Skelton.

Kolb is not as bad as he looked, but he's not as good as he should be. Kolb cannot be blamed for the fact that opposing DEs continually loop around the edge with little resistance from our OTs. Kolb cannot be blamed for our interior linmen failing to prevent the DTs from getting their hands up and tipping balls. Our OL is horrific. The coaching on the OL is horrific. Until that is fixed, you could put Tom Brady back there and we still wouldn't have a shot in hell....

The other thing with Kolb that I see is his mechanics are falling apart. Watch his left hand and how often he's got it really low when he throws the ball.

You watch a guy like Rodgers or Brady et al they don't all look identical but they all use the left hand a lot higher when they hold it. Kolb's footwork is coming apart because he doesn't trust his OL, and then he's just winging it with bad mechanics so his throws are inaccurate.

I think the bye week is all about rebuilding his confidence and working on his mechanics. With Matt the problem was when Whiz tried to do that, Matt fell apart because he didn't like that type of coaching. I sure hope either Kolb handles it better, or Whiz learned from Matt and handles Kolb differently.

Plummer could actually win a game for you, though a majority of the games he had to win was of his own undoing early on in the game.

I agree with what you are saying, but how do the Cardinals solve their problem with the OL? I keep thinking Warner might have played another season if the OL could have protected him.

Karma. Eagles is getting what they done to us.

Yeah, but they bilked us of a starting CB and the 34th pick in next years draft. GRAVES NEGOTIATED AGAINST HIMSELF AND GOT "FEELEYED" BY Ried.
