Incoming Wisconsin Badgers softball freshman Karianna Drury has a ton of momentum coming to Madison.

The Minnesota native was recently named 2025-26 Gatorade Minnesota Softball Player of the Year for her stellar senior season.

Drury, who wrapped up her career at Forest Lake Area High School where the team went 26-2 and mae it to the Class AAAA state tournament title game.

In 28 games, the catcher batted .580 with 11 doubles, six homers, and two triples. If those numbers aren't impressive enough, her OBP sat at .679 with an OPS of 1.667.

Drury swiped 24 bases in 26 attempts and proved herself with a .991 fielding percentage. She was also honored by being named a Top 10 position player in the state by Sports Illustrated.

Fresh off an NCAA Tournament appearance, the Badgers are more than thrilled to have Drury join the team as they eye making it to the 2027 Super Regionals.
