Hundley will get Mike McCarthy fired. That team is Aaron Rodgers or nothing. McCarthy is the most fortunate HC since Peyton Manning/Jim Caldwell era.

Them bringing Rodgers back at this point is stupid. They aren't winning the division and making the playoffs is a longshot. Why risk further injury at this point in the season?

For the #Packers and QB Aaron Rodgers, many factors will go into him actually playing — including the scan, the team’s standing. Today, he practiced a little and obviously not with the first-team. It merely means he hasn’t had any setbacks. He’s on schedule

#Packers coach Mike McCarthy was consistent that it's a medical decision on Aaron Rodgers. This has been their stance all along, despite how incredible Rodgers has looked in practice and how bad he wants to play. It's simply about how the bone has healed and the risk.

They have to protect their most valuable asset. I would tell him "Heal up and be ready for next year."

GB isn't going anywhere anyway.

Now I don't know whether to start him or Smith this week on my ff team.

I have the same problem. I plucked him from free agency. I also have Stanford. Problem is, I lost last week and am in the consolation round so I’m free to take risks.

I need to win this week to play for the championship. I was in first but dropped to 3rd.

Mike McCarthy said Aaron Rodgers didn't suffer a setback but was sore after taking hits Sunday. Decision made with the best interests of everyone involved, he said.

Seemed weird at the time that they could just place him on the IR after being out of playoff contention. Turns out you can't. By the letter of the rule, Aaron Rodgers is a free agent. But Goodell doesn't have the cajoles to do it. Now if it was Tom Brady and the Patriots, walking papers.
