They are all at University of Phoenix stadium. 8 to 10 yard islands, plenty of open spaces that allow for you cross easily over them.

Jesus christ. Are our corners so bad that we cannot play bump and run coverage? I watch other people bump our receivers at the line and i know the play will struggle because it throws off the timing of the play, yet our receivers are constantly playing off the ball. I think the Colts could have gained 5 yards a play if they had just thrown stand up passes all game. the off coverage allows for receivers to just have free access to the middle of the field and crossing patterns destroyed us. Sigh.. Our secondary sucks.

But they didn't have to... they could as easily get 50 yard a pop...

I love how we have so much talent in our secondary and it equates to absolutely nothing. Their discipline and ability to play out coverage schemes is horrible. And I love how McFadden has been toted as the physical corner that can play rough on the LOS, but not once have I seen him playing bump and run coverage/press. Rod Hood was allowed to do this from time to time, but our defensive coordinators love playing the corners miles off the LOS. Sometimes this results from not having safety help over the top with Wilson blitzing, I understand this, but there's no way that happens every play of the game.

i think McFadden has been pretty bad. Of course the "rush 3 or 4 and play 12 yards off the WR defense" kind of hinders a DB' s chances.

Especially when one of the 3 or 4 is a 240lb guy playing heads up on a 320lb Tackle.

I just can't understand what the reasoning is for having Haggans play with his hand on the ground opposite the Right Tackle.

Ive been saying this for years!! Even before Whis and Denny Green were here. Play closer to the LOS. At least chip his ass to throw the route off, especially DRC who has remarkable speed to adjust. Im so sick of this pillow soft zone we play in the secondary. It pisses me off to no end. The only teams that do this are the crappy teams in the league who have no talent in the secondary. We have the talent, it just isnt being used properly.
