I give up! I'm no longer a Cardinals Fan!..ok maybe I am

I haven't posted on this site, mostly just read the posts on it, but I have been checking this site out and the site before it for years now, almost every day. I posted quite a bit on the old site and had a few hundred on this site before I lost my password and decided to just pick a new sign name.

I'm totally tired of the Cardinals, I've been a fan since I was 6 (now I'm 25) We lost Boston and Plummer this year without any compensation (Denver even said they would have given up picks for Plummer!) We got none of the Margue players in free agency and now we failed to pick Sugs even with our horrible pass rush!!! And he was from ASU and said he would love to play for the Cardinals. Mark my words he's going to be a great DE!!!! Much better than any player we're going to get in the middle rounds! All the draft "experts" said at best there are 14-15 players really worthy of being first round picks so what do we do?!! We pick out of the top 15!!!!! I think the biggest reason we did this was to save money and because the Cardinals think they're too stupid to pick a player worthy of the sixth pick because all of their screw ups in the past years with lack of production and not signing players..

I just moved to Central California and I still bought Cardinals tickets and planned to fly up to every home game. I'm giving of my tickets now. This might be the worst off season I've ever seen for any team, especially for one that has the most cap space!!! I'm embarassed that I was ever a Cardinals fan!

I mean't Piriah not you, KingofCards. I think I've probably posted about 500 times or more under two different names as I mentioned changing my sign in name before. I think that could be shown by the administrater if he were to check out my email address. KingofCards, I think you are the one who might have a problem understanding numbers not me. You have to ask if anyone else has read my post when there was obviously a lot of views, maybe you think 44 views means 3? I don't know. It just sounded like a really strange question to ask and it just looked like it was an attempt to rip on me.

I didn't come here to be ripped on or to rip viewers/posters on this board. I'm pretty sure I've commented on some of your posts before and defended Cards players for the most part and like many of you on the past board have argued with NEM from time to time.

I don't think anyone can blame me or anyone else for quitting on this team. I really think the organization just cares about money and doesn't really care about the fans. I just can't see myself backing a team that just spits in my face and takes my money. Why am I a chump and fool as you two so eloquently put it for not giving up more of my money when the Cardinals don't use that money wisely to improve the team?

Although many of you aren't being very nice to me right now I feel the Cards have been much worse to me.

That's how I feel (Except for girlfriend in my case) I don't want to leave her but if she is treating my like sh#t it's the right thing to do. I don't think the organization really cares about the fans and really that should be the bottom line.

Why is that exactly..lets say you pay a guy to do a job for you, he doesn't do it and he just slacks off, do you keep paying him. Why are you saying that know matter how much the Bidwells have contempt for you you'll back them up? You're the perfect fan for them because they know they can do anything they want with your money and you'll keep coming back for more. Hell, according to you the MORE they screw up the more you'll back them. And by the way ,the Cardinals don't have a bandwagon anymore, they may have had one when they went to the playoffs but that was a long time ago. Cbus Cardfan has been here longer than that.

I like the chances of this team turning the corner in the next few years. The offense should be very good for years to come, and the defense will catch up. It's a young team that plays hard.

As is stated in other threads--it isn't easy being a cards fan--and I'll add that it never has been.
