Hugo Gonzalez, Amari Williams, and 2026 picks headline Celtics Summer League roster

On Wednesday morning, the Boston Celtics announced their full roster for the 2026 Las Vegas Summer League slate. The 16-player roster will feature some names Celtics fans don't know, but there are a few they should remember from last season, including former first-round pick Hugo Gonzalez and 7-footer Amari Williams.

Those two youngsters — along with guard John Tonje — are the only guys on this Summer League squad to have actually played with the Celtics during the 2025-26 regular season. They could all potentially start for the Summer C's, who'll be managed by Celtics assistant coach Amile Jefferson. Or, perhaps the newest Celtics get the nod, as 2026 first-round draft pick Chris Cenac Jr. and 2026 second-round pick Dillon Mitchell were also named to the team.

There'll be a lot to look out for when Summer League action tips off for the Green Team on Friday, July 10, against the Toronto Raptors. In the meantime, get to know the rest of the Celtics who are making the trip to Sin City:
