The 10-to-12-year-old all-stars from Camels Hump seek to end a long Vermont drought.

The state champions are one win away from becoming the first team from Vermont to reach the New England Region tournament championship game in 25 years. Camels Hump plays Maine in an elimination semifinal contest on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at the A. Bartlett Giamatti Little League Leadership Training Center in Bristol, Connecticut.

Game time is 1 p.m. on ESPN.

Camels Hump opened the tournament with a 1-0 victory over New Hampshire on Aug. 8. They then lost to Massachusetts in an 11-1 setback on Aug. 10.
