The Golden State Valkyries (17-7), the WNBA’s hottest team with seven straight wins, visit the Indiana Fever (14-9) on Wednesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Indiana never trailed on Sunday night in a 109-75 road romp over the Las Vegas Aces. Kelsey Mitchell joined a select company with a 27-point performance, becoming the fifth player in WNBA history to score at least 25 points in six consecutive games. Aliyah Boston finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Caitlin Clark added 12 points and six assists as she ramps up her playing time after returning from a sore back. Sophie Cunningham dropped 20 points off the bench as well.
The Valkyries haven’t played since a 79-64 road win over the Connecticut Sun on Friday night. With leading scorer Gabby Williams sidelined, Veronica Burton led the way with 17 points and six assists, while Janelle Salaün went for 16 points and seven rebounds off the bench. Golden State has 11 wins in its last 13 games.
Golden State could be without one of its top scorers, as Veronica Burton Williams is a game-time decision with a back injury. If she’s unable to play, the Valkyries will lean even more on Charlotte Salaün, who is averaging 13.0 points per game, and Veronica Burton, who is contributing 12.3 points and 5.3 assists per contest.
Indiana also enters the matchup with an injury question, as Caitlin Clark is listed as a game-time decision. Kelsey Mitchell has led the Fever offensively this season with 22.7 points per game, while Clark is averaging 20.1 points and 7.8 assists when healthy. In the frontcourt, Aliyah Boston continues to provide a strong inside presence, averaging 17.3 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
This is a great WNBA matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
