Duke softball plays Arizona with a spot in the NCAA super regionals on the line on Sunday, May 17.
After falling to the Wildcats (37-16) 10-1 in Game 3 of the regional on Saturday, Duke (41-15) bounced back with a 11-1 run-rule win over Marshall on Saturday night to advance to the regional championship. Arizona will need just one win on Sunday, while Duke will need two. First pitch for is set for noon ET with an if necessary Game 2 to follow at 2:30 p.m.
The winner of the Durham Regional advances to play the winner of the Fayetteville Regional. That regional is led by No. 5 overall seed Arkansas along with Fordham, Washington and South Florida. Duke is looking to make its fourth Super Regional appearance.
