Just how much of a role dd analytics play in the Boston Celtics Jaylen Brown trade saga? While it is safe to say that the Georgia native is now a member of the Philadelphia 76ers in part because of the supermax contract he is currently signed to as anything else, there were other reasons he was dealt as well.
His comments on his social media streaming about the season (sans costar on the wing Jayson Tatum for most of it) being his favorite likely did not help, nor did the reports about analytics seeing the Cal alum as unworthy of the deal he was on. But how much of a role did those analytics play in his departure – and what do they actually say about Brown?
