How are draft analysts seeing the Boston Celtics selection of Houston big man Chris Cenac Jr. with the No. 27 overall pick of the 2026 NBA Draft? Before he entered the NCAA ranks, Cenac was seen as one of the best young prospects in the country, behind only the top five picks in this summer's draft.
But a bad fit in terms of playing for a Cougars squad without the sort of spacing that would boost his game coupled with Houston head coach Ralph Sampson asking the New Orleans, Louisiana native to eschew protecting the rim in favor of vacuuming up all the boards saw Cenac's draft stock drop. We think that is a boon to Boston, but what do the experts have to say about it?
