The Boston Celtics need some help in the frontcourt; could they trade up to take Houston big man Chris Cenac Jr. in the 2026 NBA Draft? The biggest position of need for Boston in the draft is big man depth, and Cenac is an intriguing option projected to be taken somewhere near the end of the lottery to the late middle of the first round of the draft.
A near 7-footer, Cenac put up 9.5 points and 7.9 rebounds per game at the NCAA level with Houston last season. He also shot 48.5 percent from the field overall, a workable 33.3 percent from beyond the arc, and a concerning 62.1 percent from the free throw line.
