The Los Angeles Clippers drafted Narcisse Ngoy on Wednesday night.
Apparently, though, he's not coming to the NBA. He's going to play college basketball at Auburn instead.
It's news that came out on Thursday, which Ngoy himself shared on his social media.
This is quite a modern basketball problem, one that never really seemed possible before.
It also leaves some questions unanswered.

How can Narcisse Ngoy pass on Clippers for Auburn?
If the information is true, that Ngoy never formally declared for the draft, then this is particularly interesting.
In that scenario, there's certainly nothing stopping him from going to play in the NCAA ranks for Auburn.
It actually raises a question of why the Clippers even drafted him. Did they know he was going to do this, and it was just a punt of a pick?
Or did they really have poor intel here?
Or, is this going to take even another twist?
Players used to be able to stay a year in college after being drafted, like Larry Bird did at Indiana State, but it doesn't work like that anymore.
There will be questions about whether the Clippers can retain Ngoy's rights, and about whether the NCAA will question his eligibility.
All that's known right now is Ngoy seems to be creating a new path here, and it'll be fascinating to follow.
