hmm i though buffalo was 3-4.

Moving on.

I am partial to 3-4 even though we cannot seem to get the proper OLBs to run the 3-4 at full efficiency.

Didn't the Cards play alot of 4-3 formations this year? Mixed it up?

Yes they did. Most times they had 5 or 6 in the box and then blitz or back out in coverage depending on what play was called. This was where Bowles really earned his keep.

They did some. When the FO Annual comes out in midsummer, I'll have a more specific idea. But I still think it was 70-30 or better with three down linemen.

I mean, the upside is that it's not like we have a DeMarcus Ware-type who can only play OLB in a 3-4 and a ton of money/draft capital invested in him. On the flip side, it's also not like we have a Jared Allen-type who can only play rush end.

The challenge if you want to flip schemes is what do you do with Alex Okafor and Matt Shaugnessey?

I don't care what scheme Schwartz uses I don't want him here at all. If you want a cheap shot, undisciplined, much penalized defense then he's your guy.

No thank you.
