That was the most anti-climatic season of this show. I don't care what HBO is saying publicly but it sure feels like they ran out of money and didn't want a big battle in the finale. All of these streaming show budgets are coming to a head on all of these streaming services original programming.

All of these cancellations, shortened seasons and crap like this is getting old.

Right?? They have the audacity to call 6 or 8 episodes a season.
That's why I binge older shows. Real TV seasons have 20 to 22 episodes

I thought the finale was meh.

Pretty boring season all in all. Nowhere near the quality of GOT.

The finale was like a long trailer for season 3. Season 2 was a lot of talking about a war that never happened, and a lot of dull hallucinations by one of the main characters.

I still like it overall, but the pacing has been weird.

this is set to be the final season right??
I bowed out about three or four episodes into season one...
but I might be convinced to give it a run if it turns out to just be the thrree seasons...

it sure aint no Knight of the seven kingdoms.
