Texas A&M had its seventh spring practice on Friday, where the Aggie receiving core continued to steal the show.
Prior to last season, former WR coach and newly-elevated offensive coordinator Holomon Wiggins nailed the transfer portal, picking up KC Concepion and Mario Craver. Concepcion is slated to be a first-round pick in the upcoming draft after a hot junior season, while Craver is on watchlists across the country heading into his junior year.
This season, Wiggins built on his prior success with a truly spectacular freshman receiving corps, led by Aaron Gregory. Wiggins himself said the Ags “struck gold” with the freshman squad, which is high praise from the man who had a receiving core of Jaylen Waddle and the Heisman-winning Devonta Smith.
With a hungry group of freshmen, Craver and Ashton Bethel-Roman returning, and Alabama transfer Isaiah Horton filling Concepcion’s absence, the Aggies are projected to have one of the best receiving rooms in the nation.

Aaron Gregory is the shining freshman star, but Jayden Warren had his moment
The freshmen Texas A&M receivers — especially Aaron Gregory — continue to flash in practice this spring. Jayden Warren had the best catch in practice today, coming down with a 50-50 ball from Marcel Reed on a deep post, with Adonyss Currie in tight coverage.

Angelo McCullom with the morale-boosting pick-six
My favorite play at Texas A&M’s open practice today came from Illinois DT transfer Angelo McCullom. He tipped a pass from QB Brady Hart at the line of scrimmage before intercepting it, running it back for a TD and throwing the ball up in the air. His teammates went nuts.
