Teams from the Miami Valley will be featured as games of the week on Spectrum News 1 during the 2026 high school football season, as announced on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
The Week 1 matchup featuring Pickerington North at Troy will help open the season across the state on Aug. 21.
Springfield takes a visit to Cuyahoga Falls Walsh Jesuit on Aug. 28, which will also be broadcast across the state in Week 2.
The Middletown at Hamilton game in Week 10 closes out the regular season on Oct. 23. That game will be the featured broadcast across Southwest Ohio.
Featured games will be broadcast on the Spectrum News 1 channel, the Spectrum News App, and at OHSAA.tv. Games will begin at 7 p.m.
Spectrum will be broadcasting at least one game each week during the regular season. Additional games will be added as streaming options during the Ohio High School Athletic Association postseason, including the 21 combined state semifinal and championship games across all seven divisions.
