Speedy with his dribbling, Edmiston (11 goals, 9 assists) was a threat up top or as a midfielder as a sophomore for Central Christian, where he found himself as a Division V All-District Honorable Mention. He'll be back to lead the forward line as a junior.
The senior Miller (12 goals, 4 assists) and junior Charalampidis (9 goals, 6 assists) return for the Comets and will join Edmiston in what will be an impressive forward line that should have Central Christian right back in the mix as of the best teams in Division V.
No forward was as productive from a statistical standpoint last season as Mullet as the junior scored 28 goals (most in the Wayne/Holmes County area) and gave out 14 assists for the 15-3-3 Division V regional semifinalist Hawks. Mullet's pace, direct running with the ball and ball striking made him one of the top attacking players in Division V. He was a Division V All-Ohio selection, was named the Division V All-District Greater Akron Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year, while being an All-District First Team performer.
As Mullet played more in the central areas last season, it was Tkachuk who stayed in the wide areas as he provided 10 goals and 11 assists for the Hawks. He was named as a Division V All-District Honorable Mention pick.
As a sophomore, Kostohryz had 23 goal contributions (18 goals, 5 assists) and was named the Wayne County Athletic League Player of the Year and was made the Division V All-District First Team.
In his junior season for Orrville, Gonzales scored a team-high 15 goals and added two assists, while using his quickness to get by defenders on a match-to-match basis. He was named to the Division IV All-District Second Team and Principals Athletic Conference Second Team.
Coleman was the man that made it work in the middle of the park for the Comets as the junior sprayed assist after assist (17 assists to be exact!) to teammates, while adding three goals. He'll look to be that presence again as a senior. Coleman was an Division V All-District Second Team selection last season.
If you got to see Hiland play last season, their junior midfield trio of Troyer (10 goals, 6 assists), Bodiker (7 goals, 10 assists) and Stutzman (1 goal, 2 assists) played a huge role in the Hawks controlling a great deal of possession through the majority of their matches. They each played their roles well as Stutzman held it down in the holding midfield spot, Bodiker in the central areas and Troyer playing more advanced. As a midfield group, they will be vital again if Hiland wants to advance deeper come tournament time.
As a junior midfielder, Neruda dished out 12 assists and led Norwayne to their fifth straight WCAL title. He was named to the WCAL First Team and Division IV All-District Second Team.
Both Quinteros and Nehrenz were selected to the Division IV All-District First Teams last season as junior Quinteros scored 19 goals and had four assists, and Nehrenz contributed eight goals and eight assists for the Titans. Quinteros found himself on the PAC First Team and Nehrenz made the PAC Second Team.
The Ohio Cardinal Conference First Teamer as a junior scored 21 goals and had six assists for the Knights.
Forming a strong center back partnership with senior Drew Badertscher last season that helped the defensively stout Comets record 14 shoutouts and allow just 11 goals, Kooker is back to lead the backline in his senior season and help Central Christian reach a third straight state semifinal appearance. Kooker was the Wayne/Holmes County Association Defensive Player of the Year, a Division V All-District Honorable Mention and Mid-Buckeye Conference First Teamer.
With experienced and reliable All-District center back Perrin Miller graduating, Hiland could look to Gertz to be an even dependable figure in the backline as a senior. Gertz, a Division V All-District Honorable Mention, gave the Hawks forward progression at the fullback position where he had five assists.
As a sophomore, Besancon made the WCAL First Team and Division IV All-District Second Team for a Bobcats defense that conceded just 12 goals in 18 matches in 2025.
Triway's top defender last season, Baker was selected to the Division IV All-District First Team and PAC First Team.
Luyster was a Division V All-District First Team and MBC First Team selection as a junior.
As a junior, Grier made 185 saves and had five shoutouts on the year for the Huskies. He was a WCAL Honorable Mention pick.
