Yeah, I was gong to quote that when I wrote this post. JG saying Petzing's play calling against the 49ers was outstanding was ridiculous. Does he think we are all idiots??
Yes. He won’t and perhaps can’t call it like it is.
He’s NEVER going to blame Kyler.
He will NEVER throw Petzing under the bus.
he’s NEVER going to call out his players.
If we believe him we are idiots.

It’s ALL coach speak. It’s silly that anyone listens to what a HC says & thinks they’re somehow getting transparency. Those days are long gone. Our offense is struggling because our OL isn’t opening up holes and cannot protect our QB. And we have a very young WR1 who needs to grow up and develop in a hurry.
And a Qb that KNOWS his hot reads. The commentator said Kyler called an audible “ WALLABY-WALLABY. EVERYBODY knew it was weakside run to the left. REALLY?

I don’t many coaches are going to criticize their coordinators even when the OC/DC screws up. That’s team business and that type of criticism is a private matter. Calling out players rarely works but is more common.

Omaha, Omaha, Omaha... all the way to the Hall of Fame for one QB.

Wallaby means whatever on a given day.

Whatever... the points are, what the points are.
That’s a terrible answer. I’d like to see if the teams we played scored more or less than they average per game against their other three opponents.

Held saints 4.7pts under average
Gave up 4.4pts more than average to carolina
Held niners 5pts under average
Held Seahawks 6pts under average

So on average we are holding opponents 2.5pts per game under their average.

Yep its something no one is talking about with all the offense noise.

FG blocked vs the Saints
Botched onside kick vs Carolina
Punt into the endzone vs pinning deep on last SF possession
Kick short of the landing zone on last SEA possession

Jeff Rodgers has been the ST coach for a while, and his units are typically better than average. Not sure if its randomness or not. The usual special teams problems like terrible return coverage hasnt been an issue (and in fact, its been pretty good).

Don't know what the issue is but we haven't had a single game where SPT hasn't stepped on their manhood in a big way.

Its crazy to see all these coaching issues from a guy who I had complete faith in as a coach prior to this season.

Just telling you what the announcers said. WALLABY, weak side run left. I’ll let you figure out what the play turned out to be.

I wonder if anyone is denial still?
And the defense just regularly bends over at the end of games when it matters most.

This is a bad football team. And everyone from GM to Coach to Coordinators to QB is responsible.

And of course the man who signs all of their checks stands tall above them all.
