There's no way you get rid of Keim in the next few years. Seattle is average even with Russ, the 49ers are trash, and the Rams have an aging Stafford, who is erratic when he's playing well. Our Cardinals have the youngest and best QB in the division and it's not close. We have the youngest and most innovative coach in the division and that's not close either. We have a huge lead in the division going forward, especially when you consider our defense average age is the youngest in the NFL. Baker is the same age as Kyler! Simmons is younger! Zaven is even younger at 22 lol. You can build around Kyler and the defense is almost already built thanks to Vance. That's filthy.

(edit: And Keim and Bidwill both deserve credit, after seeing the year under Wilks they said no I don't want that and changed everything. These weren't incremental changes. They got a new coach and moved their #1 pick at QB to get KK and Murray after a single year. That's pretty amazing and the precise reason when the sports shows do mention us they mention how that was done, because it's rare.)

The hawks are a shell of their former teams. The defense is far from their legion of boom days. Massive brain drain, lots of good coaches left. Their offensive line was never a priority nor addressed which is why Wilson wants to leave.

For Russ, aside from the OL, he’s missing a steady TE. Dissly and the other dude just drop too many passes. Russ needs a 3rd capable pass catcher. Also, what’s happened to Metcalf? He doesn’t seem to get any separation any longer. He’s still big and physical, but almost every catch is contested now. We saw just last year how explosive and fast he can be. I wonder if he’s going full David Boston now. Also, worth noting, yesterdays game lacked comments about DK vs AI, fort the first time since they were both drafted…lol

I think your spot on the David Boston comparison he seems like he’s his entire off-season working out

It will be an interesting offseason in Seattle. The chances of Russell Wilson being a Seahawk in 2022 are slim and none. And slim just left the building. He's the one thing I liked and respected about Seattle. Hope he lands in the AFC.

This is the most incredible stat from the game!! Had to double check and Wilson has not won a home game this year.

Russell Wilson looked like a shadow of himself in the game with the Cardinals.

The NFL model for parity works, is even better after the last CBA and rookie salary cap, not necessarily for the rookies but for competition. Our division sucked, accumulated top draft orders for few years, rose to the top and then declines. It works it really does.

im not sticking a fork in them yet, they are one Great running back from competing next year.

Wow!

Just for clarification, this discussion is about the Seahawks. EVEN IF they secured a great RB for next season, and lose Russel Wilson, how does that make them more competitive? Do you think Geno Smith can replace Wilson's production? And that is without mentioning their OL which has been neglected, and is dreadful, since Pete Carroll arrived! Wilson AND a great RB wouldn't make them competitive next year

Oh, and their defense is no longer elite either; and Bobby Wagner isn't getting any younger!

I think Wilson has plenty in the tank, is hurt, but all need a run game. Would fare better in a different division, but wouldn’t we all. Time will tell

I think they get beat by WFT too. Their defense has upped it's game, their offense is finding it's stride and Washingtons D line is going to rip the Seattle O line to shreds.
