Of the 11 Scioto County baseball programs who are competing in the 2026 OHSAA Baseball State Tournament, four of them earned either No. 1 or No. 2 seeds in their respective brackets, as Green earned a No. 1 seed in the Division VII, Southeast 1 District Bracket while Minford did the same in the Division V, Southeast 2 District Bracket.
Valley and South Webster each followed by obtaining No. 2 seeds in the Division V, Southeast 1 District and the Division VII Southeast 2 District Bracket, leading a group where six of the 11 teams in Scioto County obtained a No. 3 seed or higher in their respective tournament brackets.
Division IV, Southeast 2 District Bracket
In the OHSAA Division IV realm, Wheelersburg earned a No. 3 seed and a bye into the district semifinal round.
The Pirates will play the winner of either No. 6 Waverly or No. 11 Washington Court House on Saturday, May 23 at 11 a.m. at VA Memorial Stadium, with the winner advancing to a OHSAA Division IV District Championship Game on Tuesday, May 26 at 6:30 p.m.
Division V, Southeast District 2 Bracket
Minford, who earned a No. 1 seed as mentioned, will play the winner of either No. 16 Rock Hill or No. 17 River Valley on Thursday, May 21 at 5 p.m. at the Red Monster in Minford. The winner of that contest advances to a OHSAA Division V District Semifinal against the winner of either No. 8 Wellston or No. 9 Fairland on Wednesday, May 27 at 4 p.m. at VA Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe.
No. 12 West, who is in the bottom half of the bracket, will travel to No. 5 Ironton on Thursday, May 21 at 5 p.m., with the winner of that game playing in the second OHSAA Division V District Semifinal on Wednesday, May 27 at 6:30 p.m. at VA Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe.
Whoever advances out of Wednesday's district semis will advance to a Thursday afternoon OHSAA Division V District Final at 2 p.m. at Ohio University's Wren Stadium.
Division V, Southeast District 1 Bracket
A No. 2 seed in Division V, Valley will host either No. 15 Coal Grove or No. 18 South Point in a OHSAA Division V District Quarterfinal on Thursday, May 21 at 5 p.m.
Northwest, who is a No. 7 seed in the OHSAA Division V District Quarterfinals and hosts No. 10 Piketon, could potentially meet Valley in the district semifinals if it wins its own district quarterfinal against the Redstreaks. The Mohawks take on Piketon on Thursday, May 21 at 5 p.m. and with a win, create a matchup between the two programs in a OHSAA Division V District Semifinal on Tuesday, May 26 at 1:30 p.m. at VA Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe.
In the bottom half of the same bracket, No. 6 Portsmouth will host No. 11 Albany Alexander on Thursday, May 21 at 5 p.m., and with a win, will advance to a OHSAA Division V District Semifinal on Tuesday, May 26 at Ohio University's Wren Stadium in Athens. That district semifinal will also be at 1:30 p.m.
The OHSAA Division V Southeast 2 District Final is set for Thursday, May 28 at Ohio University's Wren Stadium at 4:30 p.m.
Division VII, Southeast 1 District Bracket
A No. 1 seed, Green received a bye into the OHSAA Division VII District Semifinals, where the Bobcats will play the winner of either No. 8 Leesburg Fairfield or No. 9 Racine Southern on Tuesday, May 26 at 2 p.m. at Logan High School in Logan.
No. 5 Notre Dame, who is on the bottom side of the bracket, will play No. 12 Western on Thursday, May 21 at 5 p.m. in Portsmouth, and with a win, would play either No. 4 Trimble or No. 13 Federal Hocking in the second district semifinal on Tuesday, May 26 at 4:30 p.m. at Logan High School in Logan.
If Green and Notre Dame win those contests, the two SOC I rivals would play one another in a OHSAA Division VII District Championship Game on Thursday, May 28 at 2 p.m. at Logan High School.

If South Webster and either Clay or New Boston Glenwood win to the district final stage, that would set up another all-Scioto County OHSAA Division VII District Championship Game, which would be played on Thursday, May 28 at 4:30 p.m. at Logan High School in Logan.
