Great Falls High graduate Reed Harris begins his journey with a new football program this fall and is looking to be among the top college wide receivers in the country, according to player rankings on the new EA Sports College Football ’27 video game.
Harris, who transferred to Arizona State from Boston College in the offseason, is among the top 30 wideouts in the new edition of the highly popular game, which was released on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X/S and Windows last week on July 9.
Harris is rated 87 overall (on a scale up to 99) on College Football ’27, with only 31 other wide receivers from nearly 140 playable teams ahead of him. Listed at 6-foot-5, 217 pounds, Harris has a speed rating of 89, acceleration of 90, and catching ability of 88.

The redshirt junior is tied for tops at his position on the Sun Devils on the game with Colorado transfer Omarion Miller, and the pair are the highest rated offensive players on the team. His rating of 87 also puts him at No. 7 at his position in the Big 12 Conference.
Ohio State All-American Jeremiah Smith is the highest-rated receiver in the game at 99.
Harris was a perennial All-State player for Great Falls High that started at quarterback in his sophomore and junior seasons before transitioning primarily to wide receiver in his senior year in the fall of 2022. He was also a defensive standout at linebacker and played significant snaps at defensive end.
In two seasons with Boston College, Harris caught 56 passes for 1,159 yards and nine touchdowns, posting career highs in all three categories, respectively, in 2025 (39/673/5). He was ranked 30th in the FBS and third in the ACC in yards per reception (17.26), per his ASU biography.
Harris, also a state champion sprinter for the Bison track team in 2023, was the No. 4 ranked transfer portal receiver this offseason and No. 17 overall player by 247Sports.
Harris’ younger brother Steele Harris, an incoming senior at Great Falls High in the fall, announced his commitment to the University of Wisconsin football program in June, first reported by MTN Sports.
