Hutson and Alworth? Give me a break. Bet those guys couldn't break 5 seconds in the 40.

If the Cards had won a couple of Super Bowls Larry would be #2 on that list.

+1.

Don Hutson and Lance Alworth are good for their time, but seriously.........

Rice
Moss
Fitzgerald
Brown
Harrison

There is your top five, and Antonio Brown can pass Fitzgerald very soon, and maybe even Moss. Tony Toe Tap is damn impressive.

Wow. Two former Cowboys in front of Fitz. How unbiased. LOL

Gil Brandt = Former VP of player personnel for the Dallas Cowboys (1960-'89).

Worthless rankings, IMHO.

Allworth and Owens were with the Cowboys for a combined 4 seasons. Not like putting Michael Irvin in front of Fitz.

Also, people forget just how dominant Owens was and focus exclusively on his off-the-field antics. Dude was a monster.

My list:

Rice
Moss
Owens
Fitz

I like this list. Probably how they stack up for me as well. Brown can jump up soon if he keeps it up. Jones might jump up to this list as well, but I think he might hit the wall soon.

No way is Fitz #7. That's crazy talk. I think he's top five, but the question is, is he 4 or 5?

Forget Super Bowls. If Larry had KW and CP for his entire career, he'd be #2. Poor Jerry Rice had to settle for Montana and Young. My sporting/fan career started in 1945 with Stan Musial and will probably end with Larry Fitzgerald. I've been blessed.

when one is discussing all time greats...one of the greatest factors is longevity and consistency..... to this point Larry has been more consistent than Moss or Owens

But the receptions and yards numbers also paint the picture of impact. Owens’ catches had greater impact in terms of yards per catch and TDS per catch. Understand I love Fitz and wouldn’t have traded him for Owens, but in terms of on field production it’s difficukt to argue against Owens. He was all pro (not pro bowl) what 5 or 6 times? Larry has been once.

I would have Larry Legend in the top 5 no doubt!

Here’s mine:

1) Rice
2) Moss
3) Fitz
4) Carter
5) Andre Reed
6) Harrison
7) Largent
8) Alworth
9) Sterling Sharpe
10) Owens

It’s my list so take the TO just for being a dick lol

Don Hutson should be number one. He changed how the game was played. He lead the league in receptions eight out of his eleven seasons. When he retired he was the career leader in all the major categories and held 18 league records.

I love Fitz but Owens was better if you look past the antics and just at the receiver

In their primes, Owens was faster and stronger than Fitz. Owens has higher YPC and YAC. It's hard to look at the two objectively and say Fitz was better.

Much like the scenario where I would have loved to see what Larry Fitzgerald could have done with Joe Montana and Steve Young as his QB, what would Andre Tippett have been if he was on the Giants.

When you start talking "best ever" it is always hard to define it, because it is a team game.

Not only in numbers but just watching them Play Owens was a better far more explosive overall WR. Fits had better hands. That's about it. Both in the top 5 But Owens should be above him!

I would take Fitz over TO and I’m a Owens-defender. He should’ve been a first ballot HOF like Fitz will be. Rice, Moss and Antonio Brown are the 3 best receivers i’ve seen but Fitz is right there around #5.

TO has the better numbers, but the dude was an absolute cancer. Complete team killer when he was throwing his hissy fits. The numbers don't make up for that. If I were building a team, there's no way in hell I would select TO over Fitz.

So how much do you consider off-field things that affect your teammates in rankings like this?
