The New York Giants had a fascinating Monday as the calendar flipped to June.

They didn't just sign one veteran wide receiver, or two. They signed three.

Odell Beckham Jr. is returning to the Giants for a late-career reunion.

Juju Smith-Schuster comes to town from the Kansas City Chiefs.

And former New York Jets All-Pro kick returner Braxton Berrios signed with the Giants as well, most recently having played for the Houston Texans.

It was a fascinating trio to bring aboard, and all in one day, too.

On Tuesday, ESPN's Jordan Raanan provided just a bit more insight when he posted this on X:

"Odell Beckham Jr., Juju Smith-Schuster and Braxton Berrios were all signed to minimum deals, per sources. They will have to earn their spots on the roster. No-risk propositions financially for the Giants."

That's not particularly shocking. When you consider that these guys were all still lingering in free agency, and that none of them are in their prime anymore, these contracts make sense.

The Giants would gladly enjoy if one or more of these players showed they can still get the job done.

If they can't, though, it won't be a lot of harm done by the Giants in bringing them in.

An eventual, possible release of OBJ probably wouldn't go over well with the fanbase, but that's a bridge to cross if it eventually arrives.

The Giants are simply seeking out a variety of ways that they could make their team better. They won't all work, but they're working trying.
