It’s time to start preparing for the 2026 Syracuse Orange football season. We’re going through the roster to take a look at each Syracuse player as we get to know a lot of new faces for Year 3 of the Fran Brown Era.
Up next is…
Name: Noah Meyers
Position: Tight End
Year: Redshirt Junior
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 240 lbs.
Hometown: Louisville, KY
High School/Previous College: Trinity/Western Kentucky
2025 stats:
Appeared in 11 games for Western Kentucky and recorded 32 receptions for 357 yards and 3 touchdowns. 17 of those receptions went for first downs. Meyers doesn’t make a lot of defenders miss, but he only had one drop and recorded a pass blocking grade of 69.4 via PFF.
2026 projections:
Based on the spring, Meyers is going to see a lot of snaps at tight end for the Orange. Based on his skill set, he’s going to see a decent amount of targets as Syracuse looks to replace Dan Villari. I’d expect that Meyers will smash his career-high in receptions this fall.
How’d he get here?:
Meyers didn’t have any P4 offers out of high school, but he did have offers from three Ivies- Harvard, Yale and Dartmouth. Committed to Syracuse in January.
What’d recruiting sites say?:
No rankings out of high school but as a transfer he was ranked three stars by 247 and Rivals.

Interesting nugget o’interest: Two Trinity HS alums are P4 Head Coaches- Will Stein (Kentucky) and Jeff Brohm (Louisville).
Let’s get a look at ya: We go back to last season when Meyers had a 2-TD game
