It’s time to start preparing for the 2026 Syracuse Orange football season. We’re going through the roster to take a look at each Syracuse player as we get to know a lot of new faces for Year 3 of the Fran Brown Era.

Name: Walt Frazier, Jr
Position: Defensive Line
Year: Freshman
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 315 lbs
Hometown: Philadelphia, PA
High School: Haverford School
2025 stats: Recorded 52 tackles and 3.5 sacks last season. Had four blocked kicks in his high school career.
2026 projections: Frazier’s got a lot of size on the interior of the line and he’s likely going to be pushing for time in short yardage and special teams units as he acclimates to college football.
How’d he get here?: Syracuse held off Kentucky, UConn and Cincinnati among others to land Frazier.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Three stars and ranked in the top 25 in Pennsylvania in his class.
