Georgia Bulldogs cornerback Daylen Everette posted an outstanding day at the 2026 NFL combine. Everette showcased his impressive athletic profile and undoubtedly raised his draft stock.
Everette ran a 4.38 40-yard dash, which is among the best of all players at the combine. He reached a top speed of 23.28 miles per hour, per Next Gen Stats, on his 40-yard dash, which was second among cornerbacks. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound cornerback recorded outstanding top speeds in several on-field drills.
Everette is a former five-star recruit. He entered the 2025 college football season as a preseason first-team All-SEC pick. He did not quite live up to that billing, but he still had a solid 2025 season with 49 tackles, eight pass deflections, one interception and a memorable 47-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the Sugar Bowl.
Everette still has room to grow and could take his game to the next level in the NFL. He projects as a Day 2 (rounds 2-3) pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
After Friday's testing, Everette has the sixth-fastest 40-yard dash time of anybody at the combine. He certainly helped himself with a strong combine showing.
