With a little over 11 minutes left in the Raiders Week 17 game against the Giants, Geno Smith dropped back and threw for Tyler Lockett. He was intercepted by Dane Belton and on the return, Smith attempted to make the stop. He wasn't able to do so, tripping over his lineman and injuring himself.

He was slow to get up and eventually was helped off the field, hobbling slowly to the sideline. From there he was taken to the locker room and ruled Questionable to return with an ankle injury.

This week, Questionable has meant OUT for the Raiders. Wide receiver Jack Bech and RB Raheem Mostert were both Questionable for the game today and both were inactive. Adam Butler left the game in the second quarter with an arm injury and a bit later was downgraded to OUT.

Likewise, several players this week who had been battling injuries were placed on injured reserve as the Raiders are not fighting for anything and feel no need for their injured players to push it.

For that reason you'd almost expect Geno Smith to miss the season finale next week against the Chiefs.
