Godley is just not good

Doesn't help that nobody comes out to the mound as he gives up 5 consecutive baserunners with 2 out. Lovullo is just too darn passive during games.

How many times is this organization going to run Godley out to the mound and have him give up 5 runs in two innings?

With 9 hits already... That's just bad.

Archie gives up a 2 run homer in the ninth. Any small chance we had of tying this game just went out to right field bleachers.

How many more chances are they going to give Bradley to get his act together? Or maybe move on.

The fan base is beyond tired of Godley and Bradley . It is demoralizing to keep putting them on the mound . This season is quickly spiraling out of control.

Imagine being a player on this team and you're busting your butt out there all game to keep the lead or keep the game close. Then Lovullo throws Bradley out there time after time just to have him blow leads or out the game away within reach. That has to be a moral killer just seeing Bradley go out there. Just like Gracey said yesterday. You need to earn your spot every time you're out there, history means nothing if you're not producing and Bradley and Godley are not producing and haven't all year. We are close to the halfway point now, what have they showed that makes Torey believe they will improve?

I was just thinking about that, and how demoralizing it is as a player. That is a good way to lose a locker room.

Now I know there were other pitchers available but Lovullo does only have so many options. The better alternative would have been Lopez or even Holland.

The bigger curiosity is why Archie hasn't been sent down simply to get out of the spotlight and work in relative anonymity. It isn't like this is a month long issue. This has been an issue for nearly a year. Looking at Archie on the bench last night showed a defeated player.

His body language sucks. His mind is not right, at all. You can't be a one pitch pitcher in MLB. Why they can't see he needs a break from the pressure to try and get right is baffling.
