Funsho Bamgboye close to joining CFR Cluj
Nigerian winger Funsho Bamgboye is set to join CFR Cluj soon. His official unveiling could take place in the near future, provided there are no unexpected developments.
Bamgboye, 27, was most recently playing for Hatayspor in Turkey, but has not featured since October after being sidelined from the squad. This season, he has made 10 appearances, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists.
CFR Cluj was in the market for a player with prior experience in the Romanian league, and the transfer is expected to be completed swiftly. The Nigerian is under contract with Hatayspor until June 30, 2026, and is valued at €400,000. He also boasts 6 caps and 2 goals for Nigeria's U17 national team.
