The Pittsburgh Steelers will begin their second practice of training camp later this morning. Ahead of that, though, one of their recently released linebackers has found a new home.

Former Steelers linebacker K.J. Henry has signed with the San Francisco 49ers, via Alan Saunders of Steelers Now. Henry had a pair of brief stints with Pittsburgh, joining the team last October and being waived in early November. He then went to Cleveland, spending the rest of the 2026 with the Browns. He was signed to a futures contract by the Steelers in January and released again in June.

The Clemson product was a fifth-round pick by the Washington Commanders in the 2023 NFL Draft. He has 22 tackles in 15 career games.
