Arkansas baseball's latest addition out of the transfer portal is a productive infielder from the Sun Belt Conference.

Wills Maginnis committed to the Razorbacks on Monday, June 15, according to a report from On3 Sports. He is the second infielder and the third position player to join Dave Van Horn's squad this offseason.

Maginnis just wrapped up his sophomore season at Georgia State. He started all 56 games, hitting .306 with eight homers, 42 RBIs and 13 doubles. He was named All-Sun Belt First Team.

Maginnis displayed a good eye at the plate with 31 walks and a .404 on-base percentage. He only had 36 strikeouts in 260 plate appearance and finished the season with 21 stolen bases.

The Atlanta native primarily played third base during the most recent spring, but he was Georgia State's starting first baseman as a freshman in 2025. He has positional versatility at both corner spots, and he is the second corner infielder to commit this month. Charlotte's Dawson Bryce announced his pledge to Arkansas on June 10.

Arkansas could lose all four of its infield starters from 2026. Camden Kozeal, TJ Pompey, Nolan Souza and Reese Robinett are all rising seniors who are eligible for the MLB Draft.

Hayes Maginnis, Wills' younger brother, is an Arkansas commit in the 2027 high school class.
