The Georgia Bulldogs made a few splashed in the NCAA transfer portal following a record-breaking 2026 MLB draft. Georgiaadded a commitment from Oklahoma Sooners outfielder and left handed-pitcher Nolan Stevens.
Stevens joins an incoming transfer class of over 15 players. Georgia has a top-five transfer class that should help UGA remain a contender in the SEC despite losing so much talent this offseason.
Stevens helped Oklahoma stun the country and win a national championship. The Sooners eliminated Georgia from the College World Series and got hot at the right time of year after putting together a pretty average SEC season.
Stevens started 25 games and appeared in 31 contests for Oklahoma in 2026. He spent the first two seasons of his career at Mississippi State before transferring to Oklahoma. Stevens has one year of eligibility left.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound slugger hit five home runs and had 11 RBIs in 2026. Stevens batted .230 and stole three bases. Stevens posted better numbers during his sophomore season at Mississippi State. He totaled four home runs and 21 RBIs with a .320 batting average in 2025. As a freshman in 2024, Stevens pitched 26.2 innings, but he has only pitched three total innings since then including just two outs in 2026.
