Former Cincinnati Bengals players continue to have an interesting trip to NFL free agency.
There’s Trey Hendrickson going to the Baltimore Ravens, of course. But there was also one former Bengals draft pick getting more money than expected.
New, now, is a pair of signings elsewhere:
Neither player was expected back with the Bengals.
Fant had some untimely fumble issues despite his hyped arrival and tight end remains a pretty big need. Mike Gesicki is more of a slot player and Erick All Jr. still has injury concerns.
As for Browning, his collapse in play led the Bengals to the emergency Joe Flacco trade. They would prefer to get Flacco back, and he’s open to it, provided another team doesn’t offer him a chance to compete for a starting job.
